Central Region

Manager, Projects (Solaris Dutamas)

Requirements:-

  • Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Building, Electrical, Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years working experience with property developers, managing high-rise residential and commercial development
  • Possess a flair in other aspect of property development like marketing, feasibilities studies, project management and authority liaison

Responsibilities: 

  • Pre-feasibility research and study of new land for development.
  • Developing and reviewing Joint Venture partnership with external parties on project development.
  • Conducting market research on competitor’s product and pricing.
  • Preparation of Project Brief and Exco Paper.
  • Coordination with other departments, consultants, contractors and suppliers involved in the project to ensure timely completion of each phase of development and implementation.
  • Developing and monitoring of project implementation program budget and cash flow.
  • Liaison with Authorities to ensure timely approval of various stages of Authority approval process.
  • Value engineering of design and product development of project.
  • Provision of customer services support to other departments on technical issues, marketing and sales and handover of projects.
  • Evaluation of consultants’, contractors’ and suppliers’ performance.
  • Overall construction quality of the project.
  • Conducting project team meetings to instill teamwork and cooperation between departments.
  • Preparation of regular reports on project development status.
  • Leading the Project Team to perform on the established KPI.
  • Developing overall project management implementation programme, monitoring and reviewing to ensure timely completion of project.
  • Providing technical advice on design, variations and buildability to meet customers’ expectation on quality of product and workmanship.
  • Ensuring compliance to ISO procedures of the department.
  • Value engineering and analysis of the projects undertaken.
  • Participation in subordinates’ training and development needs.
  • Participation in resource planning, departmental goals & strategic planning.
  • Assisting General Manager in establishing ISO procedures, office operational matter and regulation.
  • Representing General Manager in project management and operation issue, in the absence of the General Manager
